Thank you for your interest in the Netezza education program for customers and partners. Quality training is the single most important factor that will influence a customer's success with the data warehouse appliance. These two and three-day training courses will provide you with the knowledge, skill and experience required to develop, administer and operate successfully within the NPS® system environment. These comprehensive training courses will provide the opportunity for extensive hands-on experience for the database administrator, system administrator, developer and data warehouse architect.

Netezza education classes will be held at Netezza's facilities and are offered below:

Netezza Appliance Usage (web-based or classroom)

This three-day course is a comprehensive training course that provides the opportunity for extensive hands-on experience for the database administrator, systems administrator, developer and data warehouse architect.

Netezza Appliance Advanced Components (web-based or classroom)

This two-day course will provide an overview of the Netezza Performance Server system's high availability architecture and administration. Students will learn how to analyze plan files, perform query analysis and troubleshooting, optimize data distributions, interact with advance CLI command, use nzsql and workload management.

Netezza Appliance Servicing (web-based or classroom)

This one-day course will teach students basic Netezza Performance Server system support and operational skills. The course is designed to give the student an overview of the Netezza Performance Server architecture. Students will learn how to perform basic system monitoring, troubleshooting and diagnostics. Students will learn how to manage SPUs in the Netezza Performance Server, use the Netezza Ticket System and NPS KnowledgeBase.

Netezza OnStream 4.5 (web-based)

This web based class contains all the slides, notes, lectures and labs as the instructor led class. If you wish to receive a class manual, please email education@netezza.com. You need access to an NPS server to conduct the labs.

NPS 4.5 Delta Web Course - FREE

The NPS 4.5 Delta Web Course is now available free to all Netezza customers and partners who have taken one of the NPS Appliance Usage or NPS Appliance Advanced Concepts classes. Course contents:
